Seg\u00fan la Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR), el pl\u00e1stico es el principal residuo s\u00f3lido que se encuentra en las playas, por lo que una botella biodegradable creada a partir de algas rojas ser\u00eda una gran opci\u00f3n en el mercado costarricense para disminuir este problema.<\/p>\n<p>Nuestro pa\u00eds se caracteriza a nivel mundial por ser un lugar ecol\u00f3gico, en donde el cuido del medio ambiente es uno de nuestros principales objetivos. Sin embargo, esta no es la realidad que manifiestan muchos costarricenses al visitar las playas de nuestro pa\u00eds. Seg\u00fan un estudio realizado por encargo de la organizaci\u00f3n Conservaci\u00f3n Internacional nuestras costas est\u00e1n inundadas de part\u00edculas de pl\u00e1stico que miden entre 1 y 4,7 mil\u00edmetros (mm) las cuales se confunden con los granos de arena.<\/p>\n<p>Agari, es la botella creada por Ari J\u00f3nsson un estudiante island\u00e9s, la cual form\u00f3 parte de un proyecto de dise\u00f1o que buscaba encontrar el reemplazo ideal al pl\u00e1stico que en el 50 % de los casos solo se utiliza una vez.\u00a0 Al estar creada por un material natural, es f\u00e1cil de desechar e incluso comer en el caso de algunos animales. El recipiente necesita contener l\u00edquido adentro de ella, ya que sino su descomposici\u00f3n comenzar\u00eda a dar inicio.<\/p>\n<p>Este tipo de productos son los que nuestro pa\u00eds necesita y se deber\u00eda interesar en comercializar. Panam\u00e1 ser\u00e1 el primer pa\u00eds de Am\u00e9rica Central en prohibir las bolsas pl\u00e1sticas, con el prop\u00f3sito de reducir el volumen de basura marina que afecta al oc\u00e9ano Pac\u00edfico y el mar Caribe, los cuales son los segundos m\u00e1s contaminado por pl\u00e1sticos a nivel mundial, seg\u00fan lo indic\u00f3 el Programa de la ONU para el Medio Ambiente (PNUMA).<\/p>\n<p>Por lo que nuestro pa\u00eds tambi\u00e9n deber\u00eda buscar m\u00e1s soluciones a este problema, para que en el 2050 la gran biodiversidad marina todav\u00eda abunde nuestras aguas.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Agari es el nombre de un nuevo producto novedoso y amigable con el ambiente, que busca disminuir el aumento de pl\u00e1stico en los oc\u00e9anos.
